Connecticut Tax Resolution Service

I had a consultation the other day with a potential client. Within 30 seconds it happened. He told me he wanted an Offer In Compromise no differently than one might ask for extra BBQ sauce with their chicken nuggets. I had to then explain to this disappointed potential client that the IRS doesn’t quite work that way. They tell us what they will accept. We don’t place an order with them at the counter off of a menu.

Don’t get me wrong. I wish it were that easy. If I could have everything I wanted just by asking, I would have a BRG ’64 Jag E-Type (mint) in my spotless 4 stall garage and a ’59 ‘Burst (mint) in my rare exotic guitar collection, but unfortunately life doesn’t work that way and I have neither. Getting an Offer In Compromise takes a considerable amount of effort and having the correct financial circumstances. Keep those points in mind.

Anyone who watches anything more than kiddie cartoons has come across some guy screaming and words flashing in a late night commercial proclaiming THEIR tax resolution service can have YOU only pay “pennies on the dollar” on your IRS debt. Wow. So you call them because that is exactly what you want to hear and you speak to a salesperson. This salesperson tells you after a few minutes on the phone that YOU are eligible to only pay “pennies on the dollar” and they will submit an Offer In Compromise to the IRS on your behalf after you pay them $8,000-$10,000 upfront. You have been scammed.

The fact of the matter is a broken clock is right twice a day. And yes, maybe they do submit the Offer In Compromise for you after a short conversation and maybe it is accepted. You would have beaten very high odds. Way more likely is that your offer is refused (after they sit on your case for months), and then they put you into an installment agreement. No more “pennies on the dollar”. You are paying the full amount you owe the IRS over time.

Here is how dealing with the Connecticut Tax Resolution Service is different:

  1. You are dealing with a local tax resolution firm. We are based in New Milford, CT. Not in Colorado or California.
  2. You will be speaking directly with a CPA and Certified Tax Resolution Specialist, as well as a member of the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers and not a salesperson. Me.
  3. You wll be dealing directly with the person working on your case and representing you in front of the IRS. Me.
  4. We will do a full 3 month analysis of all your financial transactions, and do a full inventory of all your assets, as well as calculate the equity you have in those assets. Our fee to this is $2,500. It is a considerable amount of work and cannot be accomplished in a short phone call.
  5. We will then advise you as to what resolution option will provide your best outcome with the IRS.

Don’t get taken for a ride. Set up a consultation with us today so you can begin to get your life back in order.
